‘JUST IMAGINE’

In 2021 I won a national art competition hosted by WWF. The brief of the competition was to respond to the statement:

‘ Imagine a future that you would want to inhabit’

This brief felt like an opportunity for me to collate and reflect on thoughts and research I had been doing into the kinds of stories we as a society tell ourselves about how our future will look.

Using marketing and physical resources provided by WWF, I held two in-person workshops. We then exhibited the outputs the week after. Discussion, conversation and expression of solutions were core to the sessions but with a focus on digging deep into our creativity to ‘just imagine’ possibilities with less of a focus immediately on a pathway or a roadmap to that solution.
