Deep Sea Ecology

Deep sea ecology is a subject I find truly fascinating. Extreme conditions, beautiful and unique animal morphology and an otherworldly feeling all light my imagination on fire. I took this inspiration and created an illustration that captures the sense of oases, the passing of time and the extraterrestrial essence of these habitats. I combined this with some traditional science communication graphic elements.
